How to use Genius Hardware on a Linux-System

Network :

GH4050 PCI Hub-Card
-> Kernel needs to be compiled new with the following options :
Network Support on
PCI Networking Card
NE2000 compatible card
-> after booting the new kernel the Genius GH4050 card will be
     recognized as NE2000 clone with RealTek chipset

Other Genius Networking Cards
GE2500 Series : NE2000 compatible PCI card
GE2000 Series : NE2000 compatible ISA card, IRQ needs to be specified
GF100TXR: Configure as Realtek RTL8129/8139
GF100TXRII: Configure as Realtek RTL8129/8139

Other Genius Network Products
ME3000 Series PCMCIA Card : Configure as Accton EN2216 (module pcnet-cs.o)
MF3000 PC CardBus: Configure as DECchip Tulip (dc21x4x) PCI support (module tulip_cb.o)

E3000 Series Parallelport Ethernet Adapter : Configure as Realtek pocket adapter (RTL8012)
