To solve this problem do the followinsteps:

• Check the settings of xour graphic adapter. If your graphic adapter has only a memory of 2MB, you should set the color depth to High Color (16-Bit) and the resolution to 640x480 pixel .

• Windows 95 users must install DirectX 5 or higher. You can get under www.microsoft.com.

• Graphic adapter should be set to a hardware acceleration of 100%.

• Driver of graphic adapter must support DirectDraw. Check by clicking START|RUN| and typ dxdiag. Click the display dapter button. Under main driver should be displayed the driver of your graphic adapter and certification. If your are not shure, do a test of your grahic adapter by clicking button DirectDraw test. As next you should check under DirectX-Function that DirectDraw Acceleration is activated. Otherwise click right hand on the button Aktivate. This function will be available after re-bbot of your system.

VideoWonder Software starts with message "Fatal acception error..."
This message will be displayed , if there is an IRQ conflict between VideoWonder card and some other component like graphic adapter. in most cases problem can be solved by using another PCI slot. When using a AGP graphic adapter don`t use for VideoWonder card the PCI slot which is closed to the AGP slot, because this slot is shared with AGP slot. if the use of another PCI slot doesn`t solve your problem click with the right mouse button on control panel and choose option settings. Click now the device manager tab and as next double-click on computer. System will now display all used IRQ´s. Only the IRQ-Holder for PCI-Stering is allowed to use the same IRQ asVideoWonder. Write down the used IRQ`s and restart system to enter the BIOS. Switch off any componete which isn`needed or try to set a fixed IRQ to the PCI slot of VideoWonder.

If your motherboard is using a VIA chipset, you mut install the 4-in-1 driver whic you can get under following webpage:

If your motherboard a SiS chipsea, you should set in BIOS under Advanced Chipset Features Setup the function Peer Concurrency to Disabled.

Overlay-Mode doens´t work when using a graphic adapter with nVidia TNT chip
You need to activate the overlay mode of your graphic adpter in Windows registery. Clicke START|RUN and typ REGEDIT. Now go to the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Class\Display\0001\NVIDIA\DirectDraw

On the right hand you will find a setting OverlayMode. Double-click and write under value 1,2 or 3.

Installation under Netmeeting 3.x

1. Start Netmeeting
2. Click left under the window on the button"Start Video". You should now see the local video.
3. Click with the right mouse button on the video window and select in the displayed menu the option settings.
4. The options will now be displayed. Now click the button "Video" to display the settings.
5. The frame "Settings of video cam" should display : "MSVIDEO: Brooktree PCI Video Capture Driver, Version:"
6. Click the button "Source" to set the video connector and the video standard.
7. Set video to AV.
8. In the frame "Video standard" you have to set the standard which is supported by your video cam.

• The camera of Internet Video Kit is using NTSC.
• The camera of Internet Video Kit II is using PAL

Sound isn`t recorded
Choose in the volume control panel of windows the Line-In of sound card for recording, beacuse the audio out of VideoWonder is connected to the Line-In of sound card. Follow those steps:

1. Click the speaker symbol in the task bar.
2. A window named volume control will be opened. Now choose Option and click on Properties.
3. In the next window click under "Adjust volume for " the tab Record. In the window Show volume controlls check if the option Line-In is enabled. As next click button OK.
4. The system has now added one switch named Line-In to volum control panel. Under this switch there´s a check-box Choose. Double-click this box to make Line-in activ.
5. As next check in VideoWonder software the option Recording|Settings and make shure that Sound recording is enabled.

Which system settings must be done to get correct sound?
After the installation of sound card driver and Power DVD  software do the following steps:

1. In the task bar click on the Forte Media control panel and check the frame audio output.
   This must be set to 6 speaker support. This settings will automatically be overtaken from the speaker setup in control panel.

2. Please check by clicking my computer - on control panel - multimedia - play audio - advanced settings -speaker setup.
   Start software PowerDVD and click option configuration.

3. As next go to button AUDIO ans set in the frame AUDIO SIGNAL the speakers output to 6

2. Click detail configurations
3. Click options
4. Turn on the microphone booster
